Emergency Medical Service (EMS) “standbys” – when an EMS crew is posted at an event – are traditionally left to on-foot patrols and ambulances, or personnel stationed statically in one location, and with varying degrees of equipment and response training.  But if a medical emergency occurs in a large crowd or other difficult to reach area, this can be a problem. Event management has enough liability: To whom are you entrusting your event’s life safety operations?

We cover your entire event. Using our specialty outfitted EMS-specific bicycles, we can more quickly access wide ranging event spaces than ambulance or static foot-based providers. We provide better visibility, better response times, and can better patrol an area. Not only ensuring superior response to potential medical issues or emergencies, but also providing proactive assistance and visible staffing to your most important asset: your participants. From falls, sprains, and nosebleeds to traumas, loss of consciousnesses, or cardiac incidents, we provide all kinds of on-site pre-hospital treatment. It may not happen, but if it does - you’re prepared.

Not just a first-aid kit.

Our equipment includes the most advanced Automated External defibrillators, EKG monitoring, Epi-Pens, oxygen delivery, medications, CPAP, and a variety of basic life support tools - far exceeding simple first-aid found at many events. Best of all, we provide medical services at no cost to the patient.

The right staff matters.

Our staff are all certified professionals - paramedics and emergency medical technicians used to the fluid dynamics of on-scene response. Fully trained in scene EMS and International Police Mountain Bike Association (IPMBA) certified, MedCycle first responders are superior at providing on-scene emergency and urgent care to other forms of medical personnel without active scene experience.  Our crews are also trained to navigate through crowds and negotiate difficult terrain such as stairs.
